Qualifications

• A degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Missouri Speech Pathologist License.
• Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or CCC from ASHA.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and build customized therapy plans.
• Help patients improve communication, thinking, and swallowing skills.
• Adjust treatments based on progress and goals.
• Educate patients and families to support success at home.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the rehab team.
• Document clearly and thoroughly.
• Supervise speech students and rehab techs as needed.
• Lead or contribute to special projects and programs.
• Stay current with professional development and best practices.
• Support a culture of safety, quality, and great patient experiences.
• Keep workspace safe, clean, and organized.
