Amedisys, one of the largest home health and hospice companies in the U.S., is seeking a PRN speech pathologist to join the team and help patients heal at home. The role offers flexibility and growth opportunities in a trusted, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities include assessment and treatment of adult speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders, with AAC and aural rehabilitation options for relevant clients.

Competenze

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology specific to that state you are assigned to work.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) with completed graduate coursework and a clinical practicum at a college or university whose program is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA).
• Current CPR certification.

Mansioni

• Prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and provide augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders.
• Other duties as assigned.
