Job summary

Sevita is seeking a PRN Adults Program Speech Therapist to assess, plan, and administer therapy for adults with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in a setting supporting rehabilitation goals. This role requires direct evaluation, treatment planning, and collaboration with the care team to optimize outcomes.

The position emphasizes comprehensive documentation, HIPAA compliance, and coordination with the client’s physician and family.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Therapy or Speech/Language Pathology with at least one year of experience.
• Current state licensure/certification as a Speech Therapist.
• Travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assesses speech and language skills and disorders in patients.
• Reviews medical history, performs evaluation, and determines therapy needs.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates individualized patient therapy plans.
• Coordinates therapy modifications with the Director of Clinical Services and the patient's physician.
• Identifies and develops intervention strategies; reviews medical data to gauge progress.
• Instructs clients and caregivers to maintain or achieve optimal functioning.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance and a safe patient environment.
