Qualifications

• Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• SP-L - Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the District of Columbia.
• BLS (Basic Life Support).
• 1-2 years related clinical practice experience in an acute care or rehabilitation facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct speech, language, and swallowing evaluations and re-evaluations, including assessment of prior and current functioning and setting goals.
• Delivers direct SLP treatments according to standards of practice, with patient and family education.
• Maintains documentation in accordance with PM&R documentation standards and coordinates with treatment schedule and department responsibilities.
