Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking a PRN Speech Language Therapist for MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. You will perform evaluations, design and implement therapy plans, and educate patients and families about swallowing and communication disorders.

The role requires licensure as an SLP in DC, BLS, and 1–2 years of related clinical experience in acute or rehabilitation settings. This is a PRN position with on-site duties in the Baltimore-Washington metro region.

Qualifications

• Master's or equivalent degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SP-L) in DC.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech, language and swallowing evaluations and treatment.
• Develop and adjust treatment plans and discharge recommendations.
• Coordinate with physicians, patients and families for effective care.
