Role Responsibilities

• Assist patients in recovering and improving their speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities through therapy.
• Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with scheduling and post charges daily to patient records.
• Document patient care in compliance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accreditation standards.
• Educate patients' families and nursing staff on follow-up programs.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in a safe and clean condition.
• Adhere to the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Program, professional standards, and applicable laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program or meets ASHA certification requirements.
• Meet the education and experience criteria for ASHA's Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology.
• At least six months of experience working with adult and geriatric populations.
• Current, unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
