Job Summary

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) conducts assessments, develops and implements treatment plans, and educates patients, families, and colleagues. Supervises therapy aides and students, contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

1. Perform comprehensive patient assessments and establish treatment goals for acute, inpatient rehab, and outpatient settings.
2. Coordinate treatment programs with other clinical services.
3. Develop and modify care plans to meet patient needs.
4. Educate patients, families, and team members.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Kansas State license or eligibility
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligible for clinical fellowship
• Experience with pediatric and adult populations, neurogenic communication disorders, and dysphagia preferred
• Prior hospital or healthcare experience is a plus
