Job summary

Avante at Ormond Beach Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a PRN Speech Language Pathologist to assess residents with communication and swallowing disorders, design and implement treatment plans, and document care per guidelines. The role requires NC SLP certification, state licensure eligibility, and up to 3 years in long-term care.

AHCA background screening is required, and a supportive team environment is offered.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Successful completion of the National Certification Examination for S.L.P.
• Current state licensure or license eligible.
• 0-3 years of long term care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide and direct Speech-Language Pathologist services to residents, including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation.
• Document daily care as per established guidelines.
• Communicate results of assessments to physicians and care team.
