Avante at Mt. Dora Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide and direct SLP services for residents, including assessment, treatment, program planning, documentation, and communication under physician orders.

Qualifications include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, successful NCS/CFY, and active state licensure or eligibility with 0–3 years in long-term care. Background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Successful completion of the National Certification Examination for SLP.
• Current state licensure or licensure eligibility.
• 0–3 years of long-term care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide and direct SLP services to residents.
• Assess residents with communication and swallowing disorders.
• Plan and implement speech-language treatment programs.
• Document daily care per established guidelines.
