Fox Run Village by Erickson Senior Living in Novi, Michigan, is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) on a PRN basis (1-2 days weekly) to support residents across the continuum of care on our campus. You will perform screenings, evaluations, treatments, and trainings in speech, language, swallowing, cognition, or voice; follow ASHA guidelines and ensure documentation and billing accuracy.

This role emphasizes a holistic, resident-centered approach within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 years’ experience in working with the older adult population related to the therapies is preferred.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Current valid state license (for state in which the community provides service) in occupational therapy Assistant, where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Providing speech, language, swallowing, cognition, or voice therapy screenings, evaluations, treatments, and trainings to meet customer needs across the community continuum of care.
• Following Federal, State, and all Payer guidelines, ASHA requirements, and company policies and procedures. Ensuring departmental understanding and compliance in the areas of care provision, documentation, billing reimbursement, resident rights, customer service, and compliance.
• Providing a holistic approach, supporting the residents' physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs
• Implementing residents’ personal care plans, focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences, and preferred routines while providing a sense of comfort, companionship, and belonging
• Working with the interdisciplinary clinical team to ensure the needs of our residents are being addressed throughout their care.
