Job summary

The candidate should hold a degree in Speech-Language Pathology, with state licensure and CPR as required, and be able to supervise CFY or students as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology; Master/Doctorate preferred.
• Proficient in Net Health and Point Click Care.
• Licensed as a Speech Therapist in the state; CPR cert if required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and rehab potential.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans to improve function.
• Supervise CFY or students as applicable.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and staff regarding progress and discharge planning.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation per policy and payer requirements.
