WellSpan Health in York, PA is seeking a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, hearing and swallowing disorders. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to plan and deliver therapy, adjust plans as needed, and document progress.

The position requires a Masters in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP licensure, and BLS. Prior clinical training or CF eligible status is valued and duties include collaboration and patient education.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Licensure as Speech-Language Pathologist required at hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire.
• Graduate of an accredited program in speech-language pathology; CCC or CF status desired.

Responsabilités

• Examines, tests, diagnoses and administers remedial treatments for speech, language, hearing and swallowing disorders.
• Reports on patient progress to rehabilitative team for medical necessity and functional abilities.
• Provides instructions in therapeutic procedures for home continuation by patient.
• Coordinates SLP activities with interdisciplinary team to meet goals.
• Trains medical and nursing staff in speech-language pathology techniques.
• Uses safe patient handling and supervises Rehab Aides as required.
• Maintains equipment and supplies and documents maintenance as needed.
