Job summary

Post-Acute Rehab Solutions Therapy in Deer Park, TX is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (PRN) to join our interdisciplinary care team. You will provide direct speech therapy services, develop engaging exercises, counsel patients and families, and set measurable goals for progress.

The ideal candidate holds CCC-SLP and Texas licensure, mastery of documentation software, and a commitment to HIPAA compliance. This role offers flexible PRN hours and opportunities for on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• CCC-SLP and Texas license required.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy laws required.
• Experience handling patient records and information preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech therapy services as ordered by a physician and per Plan of Care.
• Develop engaging exercises and activities for sessions.
• Counsel new patients and families.
• Create goals and track patient progress.
• Ensure proper sterilization and safety of equipment.
• Review patient files prior to appointments and prepare for sessions.
• Participate in continuing education to advance knowledge in the field.
