Post-Acute Rehab Solutions Therapy is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our on-site team in Deer Park, TX. This PRN position focuses on direct patient care with emphasis on individualized therapy plans and family counseling.

Qualified candidates hold CCC-SLP and Texas licensure, have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, and are proficient with standard documentation software while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• CCCs are required to practice as an SLP in TX.
• Proficiency with documentation software and patient records.
• Experience handling patient privacy and HIPAA regulations.

Responsabilités

• Performs direct speech therapy services to patients as ordered by a physician and in accordance with the Plan of Care.
• Prepare engaging exercises and activities to use during speech sessions with patients
• Provide counseling and consultations for new patients and their family members
• Create goals and objectives for patients to work toward and identify areas of progress and challenges
• Prepare speech pathology equipment ensuring proper sterilization and safety procedures are followed
• Review the patient's file prior to their appointment and have a clear understanding of the challenge to be addressed
• Attend continuing education courses and work to advance personal knowledge and experience within the field
