Qualifications

• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred at hire or within year of hire.
• BLS certification may be required within set timeframe for certain campuses.

Responsibilities

• Assess referrals, patient condition and medical history to determine therapy needs.
• Perform evaluations, re-evaluations, and discharge planning.
• Administer speech-language pathology treatments tailored to patient needs.
• Design rehab programs addressing language, articulation, swallowing, cognition, and memory.
• Educate patients and families on home-based therapy.
• Collaborate with healthcare team and participate in patient care conferences.
