Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Program.

• Current license to practice Speech Therapy in Ohio.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider.
• One year of clinical experience in the field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient evaluations, screenings, and follow-up sessions in managing communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Maintains documentation in the patient’s medical record.
• Maintains proper billing for services.
• Communicates with health care providers regarding patient treatment and discharge planning.
• Advises colleagues on clinical matters related to speech-language pathology.
