Job summary

Restore Therapy Services is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (PRN - SLP) to provide therapy services to patients in accordance with governing standards. The role involves conducting evaluations, developing plans of care, administering therapy, and recommending assistive devices as part of a collaborative care team.

Requirements include a Master’s in Speech–Language Pathology, CCC-SLP eligibility, current state licensure, and a minimum of one year of clinical experience.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a current and valid therapy license in the state employed.
  • Possesses a degree that includes an internship from an approved Master’s program in Speech–Language Pathology.
  • Meets the education and experience requirements for a CCC-SLP.
  • A minimum of one year's clinical experience in Speech–Language Pathology.
  • Demonstrates good verbal and written communication, and organization skills.
  • Familiarity with general use of computers; Apple devices a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts evaluations and identifies equipment needs related to speech/language function.
  • Identifies functional speech defects and plans care to improve function.
  • Administers speech therapy programs using specialized techniques/equipment.
  • Recommends communication devices/aids as indicated.
  • Collaborates with referring physicians and staff for coordinated care.
  • Maintains notes and clinical documentation per policy.
  • Travels as needed to client sites.
