Job summary

HMR Veteran Services seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to establish and monitor therapeutic plans of care with the help of support staff. The role requires current state licensure and a Master’s in SLP, with familiarity in PPS/Medicare guidelines and regulatory requirements.

The position emphasizes delivering high-quality therapeutic services while adhering to federal, state, and local standards. Knowledge of related practice acts is also expected.

Qualifications

• Clinical knowledge obtained from an accredited SLP program.
• Minimum qualification includes a Master’s Degree in SLP from an accredited college or university.
• Must have a current State license in the SLP discipline.
• Working knowledge of PPS and Medicare guidelines, OBRA, OSHA and state regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of PT, OT or SLP practice acts and procedures.
