Job summary

Wellstar Health System, Inc. seeks a flexible PRN Speech-Language Pathologist to cover a minimum of two weekend days per month, with opportunities for additional weekday shifts.

The role involves evaluating patients and developing speech-language plans of care in collaboration with physicians, across speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing. Responsibilities include treatment planning, ongoing patient/family education, documentation, discharge planning, and maintaining high standards

Qualifications

• Must hold Masters in Speech-Language Pathology and be licensed/eligible for licensure.
• Proven ability to evaluate speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop speech/language plans of care.
• Provide therapy across speech, language, cognition, voice and swallowing domains.
• Document evaluations and treatment plans per department guidelines.
• Conduct family education and discharge planning.
• Maintain ethical standards and patient confidentiality.
