Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to join the Acute Care Rehab Team on a PRN day shift at our main Downtown campus. The role involves participation in weekend/holiday rotations and experience with Modified Barium Swallow studies in an acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Master of Science or Master of Arts required.
• Licensed Speech Language Pathologist required.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence required.
• BLS required by American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats patients of all diagnoses.
• Provides extensive patient/family education.
• Participates in multidisciplinary team care with rehab colleagues, nursing, physicians, and others.
• Maintains timely documentation in the EMR and communicates effectively.
