Job summary

Baptist Health Beaches in Jacksonville Beach, FL seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to join the Acute Care Rehab Team on a PRN, day-shift schedule. The role requires at least three shifts per month and weekend/holiday coverage rotation participation.

Experience with Modified Barium Swallow Studies in an acute care setting is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will evaluate and treat a broad range of diagnoses, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and licensure to practice in the state.
• ASHA CCC preferred; BLS certification required.
• Experience in acute care and Modified Barium Swallow studies is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats patients of all diagnoses in acute care.
• Provides extensive patient and family education.
• Collaborates with a multidisciplinary rehab team and documents care in the EMR.
