Baptist Health (Jacksonville) is seeking a PRN Speech Language Pathologist to join the Acute Care Rehab Team in Jacksonville, FL. This position involves day-shift coverage at the main campus with weekend/holiday rotations, in a fast-paced adult acute care setting.

The ideal candidate has ASHA CCC, Florida licensure as an SLP, and BLS. Prior Modified Barium Swallow experience is strongly preferred. Email [e-mail] for application.

Qualifications

• MS/MA in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Licensed SLP with ASHA CCC is required.
• BLS certification required by American Heart Association.
• Experience in Acute Care and familiarity with Modified Barium Swallow studies is strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Evaluates and treats patients of all diagnoses.
• Provides extensive patient/family education.
• Participates in multidisciplinary team care with rehab professionals, nursing, physicians, and dietitians.

This position opportunity is set to work a PRN day shift schedule at our main campus Downtown. This position is expected to participate in team weekend and holiday coverage rotations.This is a PRN opportunity working in an adult acute care setting.
