Job summary

Baptist Health seeks a Speech Language Pathologist for our Acute Care Rehab Team in Jacksonville, FL, at Baptist South. This PRN, days schedule role is based at our Mandarin-area campus, with at least three shifts per month and weekend/holiday rotations.

The ideal candidate has acute care experience, MS/MA in SLP, and ASHA CCC, plus BLS. Join a team delivering comprehensive rehab, education, and coordinated care.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in acute care setting.
• Experience with Modified Barium Swallow Studies.
• Master of Science or Master of Arts is required.
• Licensed Speech Language Pathologist required.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats patients of all diagnoses.
• Provides extensive patient/family education.
• Participates in multidisciplinary team care with rehab professionals, nursing, physicians, dietitians, social services, respiratory, and support staff.
