Speech Pathologist PRN Dayshift, Louisville Therapies

Where You'll Be:
The Baptist Health Louisville Speech Pathology team is focused on providing collaborative patient-centered care. Our team consists of a range of experiences from 1-20+ years. We serve patients that from adult and geriatric with an emphasis ondysphagia and speech/language or cognitive disorders. Treatment is typically a combination of acute care and outpatient rehabilitation.
Diagnoses and treats communication and/swallowing disorders as assigned. Diagnoses may include, but are not limited to neurological disorders, deficits due to injury or surgery, developmental or acquired speech, language and swallowing disorders, hearing impairment, voice or fluency disorders, impaired cognition, sensorimotor deficits. Cooperates with other departments and therapies in the comprehensive approach to patient care.
What You'll Do:
1. Schedule, evaluate and treat patients as assigned
2. Develop an outcome-oriented plan of care, including patient and family knowledge sharing
3. Provide a treatment-based on plan of care, and revise as necessary
4. Accurately maintain all patient documentation, including computerized documentation, and complete appropriate charging for evaluation, treatment and teaching
Why You're a Great Fit:
You are licensed in Speech-Language Pathology from the State of Kentucky
You have a CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from American Speech Hearing Association
You have experience in acute, rehab and outpatient setting (Strongly preferred)
You have or will obtain Basic Life Support (CPR) certification
