Job summary

Oakland-Healthcare-and-Wellness-Center is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide direct patient care in a skilled setting. You will evaluate and treat patients, document outcomes, and collaborate with families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team.

Master’s degree in SLP and CA licensure requirements apply; 2-3 years SNF rehab experience preferred. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered; PRN/flexible hours typical.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Speech-Language Pathology evaluation and treatment for medically based disorders.
• Ability to supervise and direct assistants and aides; knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to work with all staff and patients; excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provides treatment programs to maximize speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
• Evaluates and treats patients and communicates with families and physicians.
• Documents services in medical records and supports rehab team conferences.
