Job summary

Eden Senior Care, through Whispering Pines Nursing and Rehab, is seeking a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist to provide rehabilitation services at one of our Wisconsin locations. This role offers a $750 sign-on bonus and the chance to impact patient care in a skilled nursing setting.

The SLP will perform therapy interventions, coordinate with the care team, and educate patients’ families and staff on treatment plans. Current Wisconsin license and prior LTC experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current Wisconsin Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• Experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient.
• Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records.
• Instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.

Position: PRN Speech-Language Pathologist

Whispering Pines Nursing and Rehab a skilled nursing facility in the Eden Senior Care Network, is now hiring a PRN Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide rehabilitation services in one or more of our service locations!
