Job summary

Whispering Pines Nursing and Rehab, part of the Eden Senior Care Network, is hiring a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide rehabilitation services at one or more Wisconsin locations.

The clinician will perform therapy interventions, report patient progress to supervisors, assist with scheduling and billing, and educate families and staff on follow-through programs in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current Wisconsin Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• Experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient.
• Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records.
• Instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
