Job summary

Metropolitan Community College-Kansas City is seeking a PRN Simulation Specialist (Operator) to operate simulations and manage schedules throughout the academic year. Technical skills with simulation equipment and computers are beneficial for this role.

A two-day training course will orient the Specialist to MCC’s center operations and required skills. The position supports patient-care simulations and equipment readiness across programs.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN or Paramedic with active license.
• At least 1 year experience in simulation lab or as a student.
• Proficient with CAE and Gaumard simulators and troubleshooting.
• Strong computer skills and technical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate CAE and Gaumard simulators and assist with troubleshooting.
• Submit schedules and operate simulations throughout the academic year.
• Set up and disassemble simulations and maintain equipment.
• Keep the simulation room organized and stocked with supplies.
• Participate in end-of-term cleaning and simulator maintenance.
