Houston Methodist seeks a Senior Staff Pharmacist for a PRN schedule, including weekend shifts. The role includes expanded clinical duties with proactive review of patient profiles, discharge counseling, medication histories, and pharmacy consults.

You will provide day-to-day patient-centered services across departments, process orders, perform therapy reviews, and educate the care team. The position also serves as a role model and preceptor for staff, students, and residents, supporting quality

Formación

• Must have Texas Pharmacist license or be eligible within 90 days.
• Pharmacist Preceptor Certification required within 90 days.
• IV certification within 90 days; BLS required within 90 days.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy and precepting staff/residents is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide day-to-day comprehensive, patient-oriented pharmacy services.

• Precept and mentor staff pharmacists, students and residents.
