Job summary

US Heart and Vascular is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to join our team at APEX Vascular in Lenoir City, TN. The position is on-site with daytime shifts and requires an RN license, an Associates degree, and BLS certification.

The role emphasizes patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, documentation, and collaboration with physicians and staff to ensure quality care and safe patient transitions.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing; RN license in the state of practice.
• BSN preferred but not required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• If driving for work, valid driver's license and auto insurance are required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts assessments of patients’ health status and vital signs.
• Develops and implements individualized care plans with physicians and other providers.
• Monitors patient progress and adjusts care plans as needed.
• Administers medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Coordinates care with other healthcare providers and specialists.
