Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc in Arizona is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse with PreOp/PACU experience to join USPI Arizona Specialty Hospital, a specialty inpatient facility focused on musculoskeletal procedures.

The RN will provide quality patient care in PreOp/PACU, assist with patient positioning and prepping, and support the organization’s mission and values in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Qualifications

• Current Arizona Nursing License.
• Current BLS and ACLS.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of hospital experience.
• Ability to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errors.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, hospital staff, physicians, vendors and the public.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness, receptive to change, creativity and innovative.
• Knowledge of aseptic technique and perioperative care.
• Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics.
• Excellent teaching skills.
• Knowledge of Performance Improvement principles.

Responsibilities

• The RN Pre-op/PACU is a Registered Nurse that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies.
• The RN will be working in PreOp/PACU (responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient).
• The RN supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
