Job summary

United Surgical Partners International seeks a Registered Nurse for the RN Pre Op PACU PRN role in Gilbert, Arizona. Under the supervision of the Clinical Director, the role involves providing nursing care to patients during surgical procedures, ensuring their safety and managing transitions between pre-op, operating room, and PACU. Candidates must have at least 1-3 years of nursing experience in PreOp/PACU or Critical Care and hold a current BLS, ALS, and PALS certification.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1-3 years' previous experience in PreOp/PACU or Critical Care.
• Current BLS, ALS, and PALS certification required.
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care ensuring patient safety during procedures.
• Assist in carrying out safe aseptic techniques.
• Perform assessments of patients for specific nursing care needs.
• Monitor patients transferring from PreOP to OR to PACU.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
