Job summary

AZ Ortho Joint Replacement Center in Scottsdale, AZ, is hiring a Part Time Registered Nurse with PreOp/PACU experience to join our team. This ambulatory setting emphasizes high-quality patient care and efficient surgical flow.

The RN will provide preoperative and PACU nursing care, assist in positioning, prepping, circulating cases, and uphold USPI's commitment to safe, compassionate service for every patient.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 1–3 years of experience in PreOP/PACU and Endoscopy.
• Ambulatory surgical center experience strongly preferred.
• Current BLS, ALS, and PALS.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient care.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques.
• Ability to adapt to changing patient conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies.
• In the operating room, provide nursing care and service during surgery cases.

Job Summary

• The RN Pre-op/PACU is a Registered Nurse that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies.
• The Registered Nurse, in the operating room, provides nursing care and service during surgery cases.
• The RN will be working in PreOp/PACU (responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient) and circulating the case.
• The RN supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred
• Must have current BLS, ALS and PALS

• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
