Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse with the State of Oklahoma required.
• 1 year clinical experience preferred; Previous surgery or critical care experience preferred.
• Venipuncture and EKG experience required.
• Strong communication skills required.
• Fast-paced environment requires adaptability and teamwork.
• Good computer and office equipment skills; BLS certification within 30 days if not current.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate flow of patients through the pre-admission testing process.
• Gather information and perform pre-operative tests.
• Escort patients through diagnostic testing efficiently and completely.
• Adjust to changing workflow in a fast-paced unit and work as a team.
• Interpret and implement physician orders; coordinate patient care with the team.
• Perform skills such as phlebotomy, EKGs, vital signs, as indicated.
