Job summary

Community Hospital is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse for Pre-Admission Testing in Oklahoma City. The RN will gather information, perform pre-operative tests, and escort patients through the diagnostic process while providing premier customer service.

You must hold an Oklahoma RN license, have venipuncture and EKG experience, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in Oklahoma required.
• 1 year clinical experience preferred; prior surgery or critical care experience preferred.
• BLS healthcare provider certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate flow of patients through pre-admission testing.
• Perform pre-operative tests and collect information accurately.
• Escort patients through diagnostic testing with efficient, complete service.
• Coordinate patient care with the multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate ability to interpret physician orders and perform skills (phlebotomy, EKG, vital signs).
