Job summary

Community Hospital is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse for Pre-Admission Testing in Oklahoma City. You will facilitate patient flow through the pre-op testing process, perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and vital signs, and coordinate care with the surgical team to ensure a smooth, timely visit.

The ideal candidate has Oklahoma RN licensure, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse with the State of Oklahoma required.
• 1 year clinical experience preferred; Previous surgery or critical care experience preferred.
• Venipuncture and EKG experience required.
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Must be detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have good computer and office equipment skills.
• BLS healthcare provider required within 30 days of hire, if not currently certified.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the flow of patients through the pre-admission testing process.
• Gather information and perform pre-operative tests.
• Escort patients through diagnostic testing in an efficient, complete manner.
• Demonstrate premier customer service and communication with patients and families.
• Coordinate patient care with the multidisciplinary team.
