Job summary

ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital in Ahoskie is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to provide and coordinate nursing care in accordance with the NC Board of Nursing and professional standards. You will gather assessment data, develop and implement a plan of care, and work with patients and families to meet outcomes.

Collaborating with the health care team, you will delegate tasks under the NC Nurse Practice Act, monitor progress, and address age-specific needs.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina Registered Nurse license or licensure to practice in a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support is required.
• 1 year of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate nursing care including assessment data collection and analysis, expected outcomes, and care plans in collaboration with patient/family and interdisciplinary team.
• Identify interventions to attain outcomes, implement plan of care, evaluate progress, and document process, addressing age-specific needs.
• Promote and evaluate effective functioning of the health care team, collaborate with team members, and delegate tasks per NC Nurse Practice Act.
