Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse for PRN Day shifts, 7:00am to 7:00pm. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care, collaborate with physicians and the care team, and advocate for patients and families while following established nursing models.

Responsibilities include assessments on admission and during shifts, medication administration, prompt documentation, and patient education to ensure understanding of treatment plans and follow-up steps.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current TX RN license or compact license.
• BLS required; ACLS within 6 months of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and each shift; report changes promptly.
• Administer prescribed medications and document care in the medical record.
• Provide attentive, responsive care and promptly address patient needs.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, meds, side effects and follow-up.
