Medical City Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse for a PRN Day shift from 7:00am to 7:00pm. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborating with the care team and physicians to uphold standards of practice and the organization’s mission.

Responsibilities include admission assessments, medication administration, timely documentation, and patient/family education to ensure safe, effective care and positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• TX RN license (or compact) required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required within stated timelines.
• Previous acute care hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition on admission and during shifts, noting changes promptly.
• Administer medications, monitor responses, and document care in the medical record.
• Respond to patient requests and anticipate needs to provide timely care.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up steps.

Education

Associate's Degree in Nursing

BSN pursued within 24 months of hire
