Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a PRN role covering the day shift (7:00am–7:00pm). The RN will collaborate with the care team to assess, administer medications, document care, and educate patients and families.

This position emphasizes safety, advocacy, and compassionate care consistent with nursing standards. The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, TX license (or compact), BLS, and ACLS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Associate's Degree required; BSN must be obtained within 24 months of hire.
• Current RN license in TX or compact license.
• BLS required and issued by ARC/AAHA.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift.
• Perform procedures and monitor care with thorough documentation.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor therapeutic responses.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, meds, and follow-up.
