Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse for PRN coverage on the day shift from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team and physicians.

Candidates should be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, hold a TX RN license (compact accepted), and maintain BLS; ACLS within 6 months of hire. Prior acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current TX or compact RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (ACLS within 6 months).

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition on admission and each shift; report changes.
• Administer medications and document care per medical record.
• Provide prompt, compassionate patient care and respond to requests.
• Educate patients and families on condition, plan, medications and follow-up.
