Grady Health System in Atlanta, GA seeks a Registered Nurse for the PRN pool to deliver age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care. You will coordinate care, educate patients and families, and participate in performance improvement as part of a clinical team.

The role requires GA RN licensure, BLS, ACLS for specified areas, and 2 years of nursing experience. A BSN is strongly preferred; PRN shifts and float requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• BSN strongly preferred.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience required.
• Current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse required.
• Current AHA BLS health care provider card required.
• ACLS certification required for Critical Care areas listed; new grads must obtain within 90 days.

Responsabilités

• Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the patient/family health or the situation.
• Provides clinical leadership for all staff members; adheres to policies and evidence-based practices.
• Identifies outcomes for patient/family and evaluates progress toward them.
• Develops an individualized plan of care and coordinates delivery with the health care team.
• Executes the plan of care and advocates for patient/family.
• Provides education to patient/family and other health care providers.
• Leads continuous improvement and evidence-based practice efforts.
• Additional duties as assigned.
