Job summary

Grady Health System is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care while coordinating across settings. The role emphasizes leadership, advocacy, and education for patients and families, with a focus on evidence-based practice and continuous improvement.

A BSN is preferred and Georgia RN licensure is required. The nursing team works within a comprehensive Total Rewards program offering comprehensive health plans, retirement savings, and professional development

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
• BSN is strongly preferred.
• 1+ years RN experience required.
• Current Georgia RN license required.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required.
• ACLS certification required for all listed specialty areas; new grads must obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Collects comprehensive data relevant to patient/family health or situation.
• Provides clinical leadership and promotes professional standards.
• Identifies outcomes and evaluates progress toward them.
• Develops an individualized plan of care and coordinates with the health team.
• Coordinates and executes the patient/family care plan with empathy.
• Educates patient/family and other health care professionals.
• Leads for continuous improvement and evidence-based practice.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
