Job summary

Qualifications

• An Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
• A BSN is strongly preferred.
• Current Georgia RN license is required.
• Current AHA BLS healthcare provider card required.
• ACLS certification required for designated areas, new grads must obtain within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the patient/family health or the situation.
• Provides clinical leadership for all staff members, ensuring mission, vision, values and goals are followed.
• Identifies expected outcomes for patient/family and evaluates progress.
• Develops an individualized plan of care and coordinates care delivery with the healthcare team.
• Executes the patient/family plan and advocates for patient family.
• Provides education to patients/families and other healthcare providers.
• Leads continuous improvement and evidence-based practice.
