Grady Health System in Atlanta is seeking a Registered Nurse for PRN pool coverage. You will provide age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care, coordinate across units, educate patients and families, and support continuous quality improvement.

The role requires an ADN with BSN preferred, 2+ years of nursing experience, GA RN license, and BLS; ACLS is required for critical care areas. PRN shifts include weekend and holiday coverage with four 12-hour shifts per 4 weeks, and floating as needed.

Formación

• An Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
• BSN is strongly preferred.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience is required.
• Current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse is required.
• Current BLS health care provider card is required.
• ACLS certification is required for all Critical Care areas (ECC, GI/Cath, L&D, Intermediate Care, PACU).
• PRN staff must work a minimum of 4 shifts per schedule; hours vary by unit.
• PRN staff may float to other units to assure safe staffing.

• Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the patient/family health or the situation.
• Provides clinical leadership for all staff members; maintains inter-professional team focus and adheres to policies.
• Identifies expected outcomes for patient/family and evaluates progress.
• Develops an individualized plan of care and coordinates care delivery.
• Executes the individualized plan and advocates for patient/family.
• Provides education to patient/family and other health care providers.
• Provides leadership for continuous improvement and evidence-based practice.
• Additional duties as assigned.
