Job summary

Cascades at Saint Anne in Seattle, Washington is seeking a PRN RN to provide compassionate geriatric care in our skilled nursing and rehabilitation community. You will prepare, administer, and document medications and treatments, monitor resident responses, and communicate with physicians to support safe, effective care.

The position offers flexible shifts, on-the-job mentoring, continuing education, and professional liability insurance.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current, active RN license.
• Experience in long term geriatric nursing care preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must read, analyze, and interpret clinical information in English.
• Must communicate clearly in English.
• Ability to perform basic math and measurements with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, administer, and document medications, tests, and treatments.
• Record time spent on treatments in the medication/treatment record.
• Ensure proper storage and security of prescription drugs and biologicals.
• Notify physician of adverse reactions or non-compliance promptly.
• Maintain clean and secure medication cart, refrigerator, and room.
• Dispose of sharps safely and properly.
