Job summary

Cascades at Saint Anne in Seattle, WA seeks a Registered Nurse (PRN) for variable shifts to provide compassionate, professional care in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.

You will administer medications, monitor treatments, and collaborate with physicians to ensure patient safety. A valid RN license, CPR, and experience in geriatric care are preferred; we value empathy and clear communication to support residents and teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current, active license as an RN.
• Experience in long term geriatric nursing care preferred.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific information in English.
• Clear verbal communication in English.
• Basic math for medication calculations.
• Demonstrated empathy with strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, administer, and document medications, tests, and treatments.
• Record time spent on treatments in the medication/treatment record.
• Ensure proper storage and security of prescription drugs per policy.
• Notify physician of refusals, non-compliance, or adverse reactions promptly.
• Keep medication cart and room neat and properly stored.
• Ensure correct disposal of sharps.
• Enter key information into EMR and computer systems.
• Practice infection control and safety policies.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and disasters.
• Other duties as assigned.
