Job summary

Cascades at Saint Anne in Seattle, WA is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse. The role covers varied shifts to meet resident care needs, with opportunities to grow professionally in a supportive, team‑oriented environment.

You will provide medication administration, patient assessments, and collaboration with physicians, while maintaining high standards of safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance. CPR required; RN license active.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current, active RN license.
• Experience in long term geriatric nursing care preferred.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical information in English.
• Must be easily understood through verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, administer, and document medications, tests, and treatments.
• Record time spent on treatments in the medication/treatment record.
• Ensure proper storage and security of prescription drugs and biologicals.
• Notify physician of refusals, non‑compliance, or adverse reactions.
• Keep medication cart, refrigerator, and room neat and meds properly stored.
• Ensure correct disposal of sharps.
• Enter key information into EMR and computer systems.
• Practice Infection Control and Universal Precautions; follow safety policies.
• React appropriately to emergencies and disasters.
• Other duties as necessary and assigned.
