Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an RN Float for a Freestanding Emergency Department on a PRN mid-shift basis. The Registered Nurse provides direct comprehensive nursing care from admission to discharge and will review and document care, outcomes, and evaluations while adhering to professional standards of care.

Required are an ADN, current KY RN license, ACLS within 6 months, BLS within 90 days, ENPC within three years, NIHSS within 6 months, PALS within 6 months, and TNCC within two years, plus

Qualifications

• ADN degree from an accredited institution.
• Current unrestricted RN license in Kentucky required.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• BLS required within 90 days of hire.
• ENPC required within three years of hire.
• NIHSS required within 6 months of hire.
• PALS required within 6 months of hire.
• TNCC required within two years of hire.
• Mandatory nonviolent crisis prevention training to be completed prior to end of orientation period and maintained annually.

• National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required within 6 months of hire.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 6 months of hire.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required within two years of hire.
