Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN with current Texas license.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
• 1+ year ED experience preferred; strong nursing skills.
• Fluent in English; strong communication and teamwork.
• Proficient in EMR and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document initial and ongoing patient assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with the team.
• Administer medications accurately and monitor responses.
• Supervise nursing staff to ensure safe patient care.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and meds.
• Assist physicians with bedside procedures and tests.
• Monitor lab results and report abnormal findings.
• Provide compassionate emotional and spiritual support.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and infection control.
• Document care accurately in the medical record.
• Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based projects.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate stabilization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
